Most Cambridge Assessment English exams are available to be taken as a computer or paper-based test. This has added more exam dates each year allowing the exam to be taken when candidates are ready for it.
Paper-based (PB) and computer-based (CB) tests are different versions of the same exam.
They lead to exactly the same certificate and are scored in exactly the same way. The two versions allow you more choice in how you take the exam.
If you take the computer-based exam, you can register for your exam later (up to three weeks before the exam date) and you will receive your exam results more quickly (in two weeks instead of four weeks for paper-based tests).
